Changunarayan Municipality

Largest municipality of Bhaktapur District with area of about 83 sq. Km, enlisted with world heritage site. This municipality was named after ancient temple Changu Narayan of Bhaktapur. This municipality is paradise for day hikers and huge fertile land for agriculture. There are lot of temple, monument, culture, heritage, tourism standard hotels, guest house, lodge, home stay etc. Nagarkot is the world popular hill station in Bhaktapur where you will be above the cloud.

There were only 39,941 people fully literate in Changunarayan Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,077 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to gender wise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
